Job Description
Tesla is hiring a Logistics Analyst for their Energy Returns team in Fremont, CA. The role involves coordinating shipments, supporting service technicians, collaborating with various departments to improve return processes, and analyzing data. What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a deeply process oriented, experienced, and self-driven Logistics Analyst to support international and domestic shipment arrangements for our energy product returns. You will work cross-functionally with Tesla certified installers, logistics carriers, account managers, warehousing, service, finance, and quality engineering to improve and manage Tesla's energy returns process.
This role may sit out of Fremont, CA or Hayward, CA.
What You'll Do
• Coordinate dangerous goods shipments from 3rd party installers back to Tesla
• Support Tesla service technicians for returns from remote locations
• Collaborate with quality engineering to improve rate of return for failed units of high interest
• Develop strategies to increase return rate from 3rd party installers
• Work with overseas teams to help on MRB returns for international shipments
• Work with EH&S and service engineering to keep business up to date on correct disposition of energy products
• Pull data from internal dashboards to investigate aging MRBs to reduce backlog
What You'll Bring
• Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, and/or evidence of exceptional ability
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to code in SQL and Tableau a plus.
• Demonstrated communication, leadership, and problem solving skills. Ability to write, speak, and present effectively and persuasively at all levels
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity

Expected Compensation
$60,000 - $108,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
