JOB TITLE: Wrecker CDL Driver DF01

PAY :$29.10 per hour

HOURS : 7:00 am - 3pm approximately, start time and end times will vary daily.

DAY OF THE WEEK : Typically Monday through Friday, this will depend on the production needs. Holidays And Weekends will be required occasionally.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The duties of a tow truck operator consist of communicating with shop manager, other shop personnel, plant personnel, other locations within NWA Live; driving to the scene of an accident or breakdown, connecting the vehicle to the tow truck, and transporting it back to the truck shop or outside service center. The driver will be responsible for attaching the disabled vehicle to the tow truck. Depending on the type of tow truck, this may include using a chain, winch, steering locks, and other devices as well as affixing lights onto the towed vehicle. May be required to fill in at other locations in NWA Live in addition to completing tasks in the truck shop as assigned by location manager.

Drivers who hold these positions work outdoors in extreme heat and/or cold conditions and also requires driving in inclement weather.

Applicant selected should be physically able to repetitively climb in and out of the truck, general climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed). Must be willing to complete all tasks assigned by management .

Priority consideration will be provided to qualified Internal applicants first. If local Team Members are not selected, Team Members from other locations as well as external applicants will then be reviewed for consideration."

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of verifiable driving experience. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL issued from the state they reside in, must pass a background check before being placed in position, must have a clear satisfactory CDL record and meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications, be willing to work flexible hours and complete the required paperwork, logs, etc. Must pass a DOT Drug test and physical and be subject to random testing, m ust meet the Tyson Driver Evaluation System requirements that involves but not limited to: Points, DUI/DWI Rules and Drug and Alcohol Testing, be willing to lift, push, pull 40+ lbs., be willing to work in poultry houses and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment, be able and willing to sit/stand for 8 to 10 hours a day; be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally.Will be required to complete all tasks assigned by management.

Previous wrecker/tow truck driving experience and Rural Road driving experience is preferred, but not required.

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl to be considered. (Example: Yard chickens, guineas, peacocks, inside birds: parakeets, parrots, etc.

Only applicants who reside in Carroll, Boone, Madison, and Newton County in Arkansas and Stone County in Missouri, within a 50-mile radius of Green Forest Live Haul are eligible to apply.

BONUS : Currently Safety/ $5,000 Total Sign-On Bonus, $1,500 upon hire, $1,000 at 3 months and $2,500 at 6 months.
