Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Lighting Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting lighting simulations, technical analysis, and remote collaboration with clients to develop lighting solutions tailored for commercial, industrial, and outdoor environments. This role requires technical expertise, creativity, and an in-depth understanding of lighting design principles and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop lighting solutions for commercial, industrial, and outdoor spaces.

- Conduct lighting simulations and technical evaluations to determine optimal lighting performance.

- Create lighting plans, specifications, and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, and Dialux Evo.

- Collaborate remotely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate lighting designs seamlessly into projects.

- Ensure compliance with energy codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines.

- Select appropriate lighting fixtures, controls, and materials to achieve design goals.

- Provide cost estimates and manage project budgets related to lighting installations.

- Conduct photometric analysis to assess lighting performance and efficiency.

- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable lighting solutions.

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and project teams remotely.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting design for commercial, industrial, or outdoor projects.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Dialux Evo, and other lighting design software.

- Strong knowledge of lighting principles, photometrics, and energy-efficient solutions.

- Familiarity with industry standards such as IES, ANSI, and LEED requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts effectively.
