About the role:

We are seeking a Senior LCA Analyst to join our vibrant and fast-paced team in Nagpur. A group of analysts from Hong Kong, Canada, and India will collaborate with you. You will conduct and evaluate life cycle assessments in the fashion industry. You are inspired to contribute your consulting and analytical abilities to our goal of creating a sustainable future.

Who you are:

• Capable of gathering, processing, organizing, and interpreting data in a way that audiences with varying degrees of sustainability expertise can comprehend

• Exhibited excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, self-motivation, attention to quality and detail, perseverance in handling challenging analytical problems, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capable of leading a group to produce high-quality work in an efficient, autonomous, and timely manner.

Requirements:

• At least a master's degree in environmental engineering or a related field

• 4 to 6 years of experience conducting, overseeing, deciphering, and communicating on intricate LCA assessments as an LCA consultant. It is advantageous to have prior experience working for an environmental consulting firm.

• Excellent understanding of Corporate Footprint and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ideally applied to the fashion industry.

• Strong technical understanding of LCA frameworks and methodology, including ISO 14001, EDD, comparative LCAs, allocation processes, cut-off criteria, uncertainty analysis, impact categories, data quality requirements, and completeness, consistency, and sensitivity checks.

• Working knowledge of OpenLCA or GaBi (Sphera).

• You must have an LCA certification or its equivalent.

• Firsthand knowledge of the textile sector, either as an employee or consultant. thorough knowledge of a variety of textile value chains and production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Using cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave analyses, conduct comparative life cycle assessments for the company's clients with an emphasis on the textile industry.

• Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for a range of systems and products, including intricate new materials, production techniques, and technologies from the fashion industry.

• From the beginning to the end, plan and carry out intricate LCA projects.

• Facilitating and overseeing client interactions, including supplier engagement, workshops, project meetings, and phone calls, among other things.

• The gathering, processing, and management of client and supplier data.

•Perform technical research in order to evaluate the impact.

•Provide clients with findings and insights, compile, validate, and interpret analysis results.

• Produce reports for client LCAs and/or supervise their creation, disclosing all tools and assumptions used, and strive for ongoing reporting improvement.

Continuously work to improve current LCA processes for accuracy and efficiency following LCA methodology and recommend tools and processes to be used.

Keep track and manage several projects simultaneously to ensure projects are

delivered on time.

Knowledge Management:

• Thought leadership: creating and disseminating thought leadership on LCA trends and topics, as well as taking part in pertinent internal LCA projects or initiatives.

• Training: determining requirements, creating, and delivering internal and/or client-facing instruction on important LCA subjects.
