Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified professional to serve as our Life Cycle Assessment Program Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Life Cycle Assessment programming in online and in-person settings, and assisting researchers and industry professionals in performing Life Cycle Assessments on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to develop curriculum and teach Life Cycle Assessment programming
• Work with IHE faculty, industry professionals, and other relevant partners to perform needs assessments and develop Life Cycle Assessment curriculum
• Develop in-person and online Life Cycle Assessment educational programming
• Deliver educational programming content to students and industry professionals
• Assist Tech Hub researchers and industry professionals in performing Life Cycle Assessments on an as-needed basis
• *Qualifications:**
• PhD in a science or engineering field relevant to Life Cycle Assessment
• Life Cycle Assessment Certified Professional (LCACP) preferred
• Extensive theoretical knowledge and understanding of Life Cycle Assessment and interpretation
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to determine the most appropriate databases for use in specific Life Cycle Assessments
• Minimum of three years of academic or work experience in Life Cycle Assessment
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying Life Cycle Assessment to the polymers/plastics field
