• The Role

We are seeking a Sustainable Products Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable products that meet our customers' needs while minimizing environmental impact.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental sustainability and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing sustainable products that meet our customers' needs while minimizing environmental impact
• Performing Product Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and ensuring compliance with all relevant LCA standards and guidelines
• Working with divisional product stewardship teams to set priorities and cadence
• Navigating LCA software and ensuring compliance with all relevant LCA standards and guidelines
• Mentoring teams and disseminating knowledge throughout the company about LCA best practices
• Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
• 3+ years of experience completing and submitting ISO-compliant LCAs, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Deep knowledge of emissions factor databases and a strong intuition of how to select appropriate emissions factors given the context of the project
• Familiarity with LCA software such as Mobius, openLCA, GaBi, Sphera, or SimaPro
• BS/MS in a technical field or relevant training and experience
• Passion for environmental sustainability and working in a new, growing space within the company
