Description
As the Licensing Manager, you will work with our Legal and Operations teams to ensure the company meets Business and Contractor Licensing requirements to sell and install Residential Solar for all markets in various states. Major responsibilities include determining licensing requirements and meeting those requirements through applications, renewals, etc. The ideal candidate has experience in general business and/or contractor licensing and is a self-starter. This position will be based in Ambia’s HQ, located in Provo, UT
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Determine business licensing requirements for each market the company operates in or expands to.
• Determine contractor licensing requirements for each market the company operates in or expands to.
• Meet all business and contractor licensing requirements through application submission with the appropriate groups
• Ensure licensing renewals are completed, allowing for continuous service for customers.
• Communicate with third party contractors, governing bodies, and internal stakeholders through various means
• Maintain accurate records of business and contractor license.
• Work with third party contractors to ensure licensing requirements, SLAs, and any additional items are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years’ experience in legal, general business licensing, or contractor licensing
• Highly organized and structured
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate with internal and external groups.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
