Licensed VA Electrician (Renewable Energy)

NCW is hiring a Licensed VA Electrician for renewable energy projects in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical systems, particularly for solar and battery storage. Candidates must have a valid Virginia Journeyman License and 5+ years of experience in the field. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay at $53.50/hour, and benefits like medical, dental, and retirement plans. Immediate start is required.
NCW is seeking experienced Licensed Virginia State Electricians that will be tasked to installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for renewable energy projects, may include solar and battery storage. In addition to working with inverters, wiring, solar panels, and other electrical components, installing and maintaining Battery Energy Storage Systems(BESS) as well as troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards (NEC).

Reciprocating licenses from Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina will be considered, however the VA Journeyman License must be in hand prior to the required start date.

Per diem is available for this position.

Requirements

· Journey level experience 5+ or more years

· Must have valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician License

· Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is highly preferred.
