Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen), is a leading international provider of pharmaceutical wholesaling, logistics, support with clinical trials and other innovative healthcare services and solutions to independent pharmacists and pharmaceutical manufacturers across Europe and beyond.

The Dutch company is supported by a dedicated legal team that works on a wide variety of legal topics. Due to expansion of the legal team there currently is a job opening for a Legal Counsel based in Veghel.

Legal Counsel (Veghel)

40 hours per week

In this position you will report to the General Counsel of Alliance Healthcare Nederland and equally work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel in the Dutch legal team.

Your job

As a Legal Counsel, you will be an essential employee within our legal department. You will support the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel on various legal tasks and contribute to the success of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:
• Support: Assisting the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel with daily legal matters.
• Advice and Proposals: Contributing ideas and providing legal advice in the drafting of proposals and contracts, identifying legal risks and opportunities.
• Procurement Support: Offering legal support in procurement processes, including reviewing contracts and terms.
• Review Documentation: Reviewing a wide variety of documents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Legal Training: The opportunity to prepare and deliver legal training sessions for internal teams, aimed at enhancing legal knowledge within the organization.
• Maintaining Standards: Actively contributing to the maintenance of legal standards and procedures within the organization.
• Company Secretarial Tasks: Performing company secretarial duties, such as maintaining shareholder registers and preparing meeting minutes.

Your profile:
• A completed law degree (master’s level).
• Some experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• A team player with a hands-on mentality.
