The University of Colorado System is establishing a pool of part-time Lecturers in Sustainable Business for temporary, non-tenure-track positions. Appointments will be made semester-by-semester based on teaching needs, with classes taught online in synchronous or asynchronous formats. The salary ranges from $5,425 to $5,875 per course. This pool is active through August 2024, and applicants can reapply for future pools thereafter.
SUMMARY

This posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from
which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions
will be made. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current,
open position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE)
and will be made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise.
This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously
active through August 2024. at which point all applications will be
cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to
future pools after that date.

DESCRIPTION

The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU
Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Sustainable Business from
which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions
will be made. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE)
and will be made semester-by-semester as needed.

Salary and Benefits:

Lecturers selected from this pool will teach classes in the
Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes
taught will generally be limited to three credit hours. All classes
are taught online in a remote synchronous or asynchronous
format.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been
established at $5,425 to $5,875 depending upon course level.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set
based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to,
internal equity, experience, education, specialty and
training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the
University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of
possible compensation at the time of posting.

Qualifications :

Minimum Qualifications:
• Reside in the United States
• Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial
experience specifically related to operations, managing, accounting
and reporting, strategy, investing or another aspect of
implementing corporate sustainability and/or resilience; at a
minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five
years of duties and responsibilities.
• Master’s or higher degree in any business, sustainability, or
other closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Inclusive of all minimum qualifications
• ABD or PhD degree in a business, sustainability, or closely
related field.
• Prior experience teaching the course or a similar course being
staffed.
