Job Description

The University of Manchester is hiring a Lecturer in Nature Recovery, Restoration and Rewilding to enhance their MSc program and research capacity. Responsibilities include teaching at various levels, supervising PhDs, and engaging in research. The role offers a competitive pension, health services, and generous leave. We are excited to be recruiting new faculty to the following areas:
• Lecturer in Nature Recovery, Restoration and Rewilding with an expertise in the theory, policy and/or practice of delivering transformative conservation.

The post is intended to contribute to our new MSc in Nature Recovery, Restoration and Rewilding (NR3) and to strengthen the research and teaching capacity of the Department of Planning, Property & Environmental Management (PPEM), within the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED).

We expect the postholders to be committed to high quality research, leading to publications and to deliver research-led teaching. The appointees will be expected to teach at all levels, from undergraduates to supervising PhDs, and will also be expected to undertake a range of administrative and pastoral duties.
