About the Project
">

The Torrens to Darlington (T2 D) Alliance, a collaborative effort between John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia, has successfully secured the contract to deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, leaving a lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.

The project scope is focused on a 10.5km motorway, encompassing over 4kms of twin three-lane tunnels, road and bridge construction, and complex M&E installations.

Expected to be open to traffic in 2031, the T2 D alliance will provide the people of Adelaide with an incredible opportunity to be part of an iconic project, offering career stability and the chance for career progression and development.

Role Description
">

As a Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the safety function under general supervision, providing support and coordination of safety practices, systems, and procedures on the project.

Monitor compliance with safety systems and procedures within the workplace and provide operational support to the project management team.

Conduct routine safety inspections and monitor work areas.

Assist with conducting incident and accident investigations that may require litigation.

Assist with workers' compensation claims and rehabilitation processes.

Research and assist with the development of safety policies specific to the project.

Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of project safety programs.

Requirements

We are seeking an individual with a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.

Ideally, 2+ years' experience in a similar role within Health and Safety teams, preferably on large Civil Construction, Mining, or Infrastructure Projects.

Ability to interpret project-related documents, prepare reports, and monitor compliance documentation.

Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls.

Strong investigative and auditing skills.
