Overall Purpose: Leads sustainability initiatives by developing strategies, managing supplier performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the corporate-wide sustainability strategy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Lead Projects and Develop Strategies: Provide strong leadership and project management to promote responsible sourcing, optimize distribution, and increase capacity utilization.
• Analyze and Drive Impact: Analyze environmental, social, and governance to ensure positive environmental impact and advance sustainability initiatives.
• Implement Sustainable Purchasing: Identify and implement sustainable purchasing processes to reduce social, environmental, and economic impacts and risks in the supply chain.
• Ensure Compliance and Improve Footprint: Interpret regulations, manage compliance activities, and improve the global environmental footprint.
• Collaborate and Manage Suppliers: Work closely with cross-functional teams and manage supplier and category performance to achieve waste reduction, performance improvement, risk reduction, and cost savings.

Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability or Supply Chain, Master’s degree a plus and 5+ years of related experience.
