Lead Production Start-Up Technician

Orange EV LLC is seeking a Lead Production Start-Up Technician in Kansas City, KS. This full-time role involves powering up electric trucks, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring quality and safety. Candidates should have strong mechanical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. The position works Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Previous hydraulics or pneumatics experience is a plus.

This is a full-time employment opportunity on the day shift working 6:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday (50 hours).

Position Responsibilities
• Initial power-up of trucks
• Troubleshooting high and low-voltage systems
• Establishing and setting programming parameters
• Ensure the implementation of quality and safety procedures
• Identify and correct defects in product or workmanship
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Position Qualifications
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area;
• Strong mechanical aptitude;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage time to meet regular deadlines;
• Ability to adhere to and develop best safety processes;
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in a leadership role supervising 8 or more team members;
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings;
• Previous experience with hand/power tools;
• Detail-oriented with good focus; and
• Dependable, reliable, and flexible.

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have
• Previous hydraulics and/or pneumatics experience is a plus.
