Role
This is a thrilling opportunity to contribute to our sector-leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. We seek experienced consultants, at both Associate and Principal levels, to deliver commercially focused environmental and sustainability due diligence advice for diverse real estate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions across the UK and Europe.
You will lead our established environmental due diligence teams responsible for managing and delivering a variety of fast-paced technical projects related to ground risk, flood risk, environmental compliance, and sustainability.
How You'll Contribute
• Leadership of a team of environmental consultants across multiple offices, taking responsibility for pastoral care, training, technical and operational delivery, recruitment, and financial performance with support from the Service Lead.
• Technical support for the team in the areas of ground risk, environmental compliance, and an understanding of sustainability.
• Project management and timely delivery of multiple critical due diligence projects, including multi-site portfolios within the UK and Europe.
• Financial management of the regional team, ensuring accountability for meeting budgets and reporting key performance metrics to the Service Lead.
• Client account management, developing new business relationships, and handling day-to-day client communications while supporting junior team members.
• Production and approval of proposals and technical deliverables, ensuring high standards are met to satisfy client requirements.
• Technical interpretation of data to provide commercially sound advice, helping clients achieve their investment objectives.
• Management of suppliers and third-party specialists to efficiently and cost-effectively deliver projects.
• Line management of senior team members, including coaching and performance feedback.
• Demonstrate the behaviors, vision, and values of the business and inspire these throughout the team and beyond.
Knowledge and Skills
• Degree in a relevant subject and a preferred secondary degree (e.g., MSc) or discipline-related qualification.
• Member of a relevant professional body, preferably achieving chartered status.
• In-depth knowledge of ground risk and environmental compliance, with understanding of sustainability preferred.
• Proven project management and team leadership skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient IT skills, including MS Office.
• Full UK driving license (preferable).
