We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead the design of environmentally conscious and aesthetically compelling projects. This fully remote role provides an exceptional opportunity to shape the built environment from anywhere, contributing to a more sustainable future. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree, coupled with a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on sustainable practices and technologies. You will lead design teams through all phases of the architectural process, from conceptualization and schematic design to construction documentation, ensuring designs meet client objectives, regulatory requirements, and our client's high standards for sustainability and innovation. A deep understanding of green building principles, LEED certification processes, passive design strategies, and the use of eco-friendly materials is essential. You will be responsible for mentoring junior designers, fostering a collaborative design culture, and coordinating with structural engineers, MEP engineers, landscape architects, and other consultants. Strong proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering programs, is required. The ability to develop compelling design narratives, present concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders, and manage project timelines and budgets is critical. Responsibilities: Lead the architectural design process for various project types, emphasizing sustainable and innovative solutions. Develop conceptual designs, schematic designs, and detailed architectural plans. Ensure designs adhere to client requirements, building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability goals (e.g., LEED). Prepare high-quality design presentations, renderings, and documentation for client reviews. Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and contractors. Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering their professional growth. Manage project timelines and budgets related to design activities. Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies. Review construction documents and specifications for design integrity. Stay abreast of emerging trends in sustainable architecture and design technology. Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural design. Professional Architect (RA) license preferred. Demonstrated experience in sustainable design principles and LEED accreditation is highly desirable. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software. Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and sustainable design projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solving abilities and strong design sensibility. Experience working effectively in a remote team environment.
