Job Description

The Lead (Business Development- EPC Sales) position at Punjab Renewable Energy System in Navi Mumbai involves generating and managing business leads, conducting market research, building customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with sales contracts. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a preference for candidates from the renewable energy sector. A BE (Mechanical) degree and 8-15 years of relevant experience are required.
Location : HO, Navi Mumbai

1. Business Development for mainstream business lines (O&M, BOOT).

2. Generate business leads, following up and closing the deal.

3. Streamlining of converted business leads by being in touch with the ground team,

Management team, and cross-functional teams of clients.

4. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

5. Conduct local market study covering competitor activities.

6. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

7. Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.

8. Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

9. Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.

10.Prepare, Submit, and Review weekly & monthly reports.

11.Cross-functional coordination with all the stakeholders.

12.Analyze and deliver periodic reporting to the management.

13.Represent PRESPL as and when directed by management.

Key Performance Indicators / Areas (KPIs / KPAs)

a) Drive Quantifiable Business Development,

b) Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

c) Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.

d) Follow up with the clients on the proposals sent.

e) Take feedback from clients on boarded on existing and future business.

f) Ensure secrecy of database, technological initiatives and business plans of the company.

g) Monitor HSSE / EHS standards of Project Sites in consultation with Sites in Charge and as per Company Policy.

Required Candidate Skills

1. Ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients.

2. High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making

3. Excellent leadership and communication skills

4. Candidates from the renewable energy (Biomass) sector would be preferred.

Work Experience: 8-15 Years

Qualification: BE (Mechanical) with relevant experience in EPC sales.
