Project Coordination

We are looking for a skilled Large Scale Project Coordinator to manage the coordination of medium to large sized projects across various sectors, including commercial, oilfield services, and environmental remediation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project execution, with a focus on remote arctic logistics.

Main Responsibilities
">
">
• Develop detailed project estimates and proposals;">
• Evaluate subcontractor bid packages and oversee permitting efforts as required;">
• Produce project management plans, production reports, schedules, and other necessary documentation;">
• Direct Superintendent, Foreman, and Craft Workers to create efficient work schedules;">
• Manage purchasing and shipping of materials;">
• Review subcontractor material quotes, submittals, and shop drawings for compliance with contract specifications;">
• Prepare project progress documentation and apply best practices to project-related processes;">
• Ensure QA/QC on assigned projects and participate in the Olgoonik safety program;">
• Assist other subsidiaries as assigned and perform other duties as needed;">

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Large Scale Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects, managing in-house clerical, support personnel, craft personnel, and subcontractors.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
">
">
• A postsecondary education in engineering or a technical field (experience in lieu of education will be considered);">
• 5-10 years of project management experience, with an emphasis on medium to large sized projects in various sectors;">
• A high level of experience in remote arctic logistics and project execution;">
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and MS Project software;">
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence employees and subcontractors;">
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently;">
• A good attitude and ability to work effectively under minimal supervision;">
• PMP certification is preferred;">
• An Alaska driver's license is required.">

Work Environment

This role is based in a general office environment, with some travel required based on business demands.
