Landscape Project Manager (Architect/Civil Background)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager with a background in Architecture and Civil Engineering to lead landscape projects from concept through execution. This managerial role requires expertise in both softscape and hardscape, integrating design, construction, and sustainability principles.

As a key leader, you will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, design, and execution of landscape projects, integrating architectural and civil engineering principles with horticulture, hardscape, and environmental sustainability.
• Supervise and coordinate softscape and hardscape activities, including lawns, trees, gardens, pavements, structures, water features, and irrigation systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams including landscapers, architects, civil engineers, and maintenance staff; mentor and guide team members to promote professional growth.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project vision, provide expert recommendations, and present detailed design proposals.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and construction standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain excellence across all project phases.
• Drive innovation in design and execution of both softscape and hardscape, ensuring projects are aesthetically appealing, functional, and sustainable.

Qualifications & Experience
• 10 to 15 years of proven experience in managing large-scale landscape projects with architectural and civil engineering involvement.
• Strong managerial and leadership experience in landscaping, architecture, or construction environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in softscape and hardscape design and execution.
• Solid knowledge of civil construction processes, site development, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with architectural design principles, landscape detailing, and sustainable landscaping solutions.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and client management skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Landscape Architecture is highly desirable.
