As a Landscape Habitat Restoration Technician, you will be involved in various aspects of habitat restoration, including biological consulting, landscape architecture, cultural resource management, regulatory permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, and GIS services for both public and private sectors. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of restoration projects, which may include tasks such as non-native species removal, mowing, herbicide application, plant installation, and irrigation installation. You will also be required to travel for out-of-town projects as needed, which adds an exciting dimension to the role. This position is ideal for individuals who are safety-minded, possess strong communication skills, and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be expected to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate uneven surfaces and slopes. Knowledge of native plants and weed species is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to our projects.
