Lochmueller Group is seeking a Landscape Architect or Urban Designer for their offices in St. Louis or Indiana. The role involves design, production, and collaboration on various landscape architecture and urban design projects. Candidates should have a degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design, with 5+ years of experience. Proficiency in design software is required. We are looking for a talented and experienced Landscape Architect, Landscape Architectural Designer, or Urban Designer to join our growing company. This position can be based in St. Louis or any of our Indiana offices.

This role will have the opportunity to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment of designers, planners, and engineers in all our service lines: urban design & landscape architecture, transportation, water resources design, environmental analysis & permitting, construction engineering & inspection, traffic engineering & transportation planning, surveying, and land acquisition & appraisal.

In this position, the candidate will:
• Perform design and production for a variety of landscape architecture and urban design projects
• Prepare and/or lead the production of various studies and reports
• Prepare construction documents including construction details and technical specifications
• Prepare and refine presentation level plans and graphics
• Work on multiple projects concurrently
• Support managers and other team members to ensure the success of projects
• Support and assist in business development efforts, preparation of proposals, and preparation of presentations to aid in the growth of the Landscape Architecture and Urban design team

Qualifications for this role:
• Bachelor or Master of Landscape Architecture or Urban Design
• Licensed Landscape Architect in MO, IL, IN and/or KY is desired but not required
• 5+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience creating renderings, graphics, and reports in Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic programs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including: Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Ability to travel to project locations
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• An entrepreneurial spirit and support in growing the Urban Design & Landscape Architecture practice
