This role is a great fit for individuals who are used to physical outdoor work, equipment operation, working in all weather conditions, site maintenance, and staying productive with minimal supervision.

Barn Angels is hiring a dependable and hard-working Jack/Jill of all trades to join our growing team. This is a unique full-time position that combines truck and trailer driving, farm work, physical labor, and respectful deceased animal transport services.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This is steady, long-term work with room for growth and performance-based bonuses.

Job Details
• Full-time, permanent
• In person / on the road / on the farm as needed
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend emergency coverage as needed
• English required

Requirements
• AR licence required
• Minimum 2 years of truck and trailer driving experience
• Minimum 5 years of overall driving experience
• Must be comfortable backing up a truck and trailer into tight spaces
• Must provide a current driver’s abstract
• Must provide an up-to-date eye exam
• Must be fluent in English and able to complete logs, inspections, and daily paperwork
• Must be comfortable with physical work, strong odors, and handling deceased animals of all species
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Basic automotive repair skills are an asset
• Loader, tractor, farm, or landscaping experience is an asset

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be willing to load, unload, clean, sanitize, and assist outside the truck
• Must be able to keep trucks, trailers, and work areas clean and organized

Responsibilities
• Pick up and transport deceased animals safely and respectfully
• Coordinate with the office on daily schedules
• Complete daily inspections, activity logs, and safety logs
• Clean and sanitize trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Assist with farm work, maintenance, and facility organization during non-driving hours
• Participate in environmental projects such as tree planting and conservation work as needed
