The Opportunity

As a key member of the Legal, Risk and Governance division, you will apply your skills in property negotiations to help secure the agreements essential for forging our path in South Australia’s clean energy future. You will focus on building strong positive relationships with landowners and stakeholders. you will leverage your deep knowledge of land tenure, property law and valuation principles to seamlessly navigate the complexities of property negotiations and agreements.

In addition, you will:
• Provide technical expertise and operational support for securing land, easements, and agreements for capital projects, as well as leasing and licensing arrangements.
• Offer property-based services, including property condition assessments, compensation, and valuation advice to support landholder claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with landholders and industry stakeholders, addressing queries, concerns, and resolving land-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for landholder engagement, risk management, and environmental and cultural heritage considerations.
• Utilise GIS tools to manage geospatial property information and streamline scoping and estimating processes.

About You

To accompany this, you’ll have:
• Tertiary qualifications in a property related discipline
• As a guide, minimum 5 years of experience in a discipline related role
• Demonstrated experience in property research and knowledge of land tenure systems
• Significant experience in landowner/stakeholder engagement and the negotiation of property transactions
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of external planning and environmental approvals in an infrastructure context
