Laborer/Apprentice

Hawaii Off-Grid: Architecture & Engineering is seeking a full-time Laborer/Apprentice in Paia, HI. This entry-level position involves physical labor and basic construction tasks, requiring the ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work outdoors. This is an entry level full-time, hourly position requiring:

- Physical labor

- Ability to lift 50-75lbs

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Ability to perform basic construction site duties such as demolition, clearing debris, manual excavation, setting us protection for finished surfaces

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

- Previous experience in construction of a related field but not required.

- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.

- Ability to operate basic construction machinery such as jackhammers, drills, and saws.

- Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.

- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communications.

- Positive attitude and willingness to assist others on the job site.

- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

- Punctuality and consistent attendance.

- Dependency to complete assisted tasks and responsibilities.

- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
