Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician I (Lab Tech I) to join our team in Visalia, CA. As a Lab Tech I, you will be part of our lab team responsible for performing chemical and data analysis to support the production of low-carbon biofuels for customers across the U.S.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform assigned laboratory assays according to the weekly run schedule.
• Conduct assays and enter data in a timely and accurate manner, meeting all quality assurance requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enable rapid advancement to more complex tasks.
• Support the lab workflow by assisting other team members with ongoing runs and creating buffers and prepping samples as needed.
• Maintain stock solutions of reagents and analytical standards, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform duties in a safe manner, following all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in laboratory sciences or a related field.
• Proficient in basic algebraic and statistical calculations.
• Familiarity with safe chemical handling procedures and MSDS/SDS guidelines.
• Prior experience with data analysis, including statistics and software calculation tools (Excel preferred).
• Knowledge of QC/QA analyses and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
