Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking to hire a part-time Laboratory Assistant to assist with processing blood samples. Primary duties include:

• Processing blood samples to extract plasma

• Extracting cell-free DNA from plasma samples

• Maintaining biospecimen inventories

Note: The funding for the position is a one-time funding, of eighteen (18) months or less.

Salary Range: $19.90/hour - $23.04/hour

Job Qualifications

• Basic understanding of molecular biology

• Typing and data entry skills
