About the position

The Keystone 10 Million Trees Warehouse Staff position at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation involves assisting with the logistics of tree delivery and inventory management at the Duncannon and Marietta warehouses in Pennsylvania. The role includes driving commercial vehicles, handling physical materials, and providing logistical support during tree planting events. The position is seasonal, with limited hours and occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities
• Driving large commercial vehicles throughout Pennsylvania, including a box truck and a DOT licensed pickup truck with a trailer.

• Repetitive bending and lifting of 60+ pounds of materials or trees onto and off pallets, vehicles, trailers, and cargo containers.

• Completing a DOT Medical Exam and obtaining Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification upon hire.

• Training to operate a forklift and/or skid steer; certification is a plus.

• Sorting and inventorying products in the warehouse.

• Acting as a representative of CBF and providing excellent customer service during deliveries.

• Cleaning warehouse bays and trucks as needed.

• Performing daily safety and maintenance checklists on vehicles and equipment.

• Providing occasional support at tree plantings, including site preparation and material organization.

Requirements
• Ability to bend and lift 60+ pounds independently and repetitively.

• Basic math skills for inventory management.

• A clean driving record.

• Experience in truck driving, forklift, and skid steer operation.

• Ability to provide personal transportation to and from work.

• Punctuality and reliability in arriving to work on time.

Nice-to-haves
