Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Legal Counsel. The role would be of an advisor to management on all matters legal and apply their legal expertise to contracts, compliance, disputes, transactions, and other matters to mitigate risk and facilitate business objectives.

Responsibilities:

· Draft and review NDAs, advisory agreements, consulting agreements, and other standard commercial contracts.

· Review third-party agreements and flag key risks and obligations.

· Maintain version control and document records for contracts and legal templates.

· Assist in drafting, updating, and reviewing internal company policies.

· Ensure policies align with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.

· Provide preliminary legal research and advisory support on general corporate law and regulatory matters.

· Conduct basic due diligence on counterparties and documents received.

· Maintain legal templates and ensure consistent formatting, approvals, and metadata.

· Help manage execution of contracts (wet signatures or e-signatures), and filing of final documents.

· Support internal teams with ad-hoc legal queries and coordination with external counsel as needed.

Requirements:

· Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

· 0–2 years of experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm preferred.

· Solid understanding of contract law and basic corporate legal concepts.

· Strong legal drafting and research skills.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
