Job Description

Sigma Earth is seeking a Junior Engineer in Renewable Energy to conduct energy audits, prepare technical documents, and supervise renewable energy systems. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience. The role requires strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Position: Junior Engineer (Renewable Energy)

• Involved in over 80% of metro projects in major Indian cities (e.g., Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi).
• General Consultant for Kochi Metro Rail Project (Phase-II, JLN Stadium to Infopark via Kakkanad).
Main Duties
• Conduct detailed energy audits to identify energy efficiency opportunities for the metro system in collaboration with the client.
• Prepare/review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for electrical systems, including cost-benefit analysis to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Supervise operation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
• Graduate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Experience:
• Graduates:
Minimum 2 years in relevant field, with 1 year as a renewable energy expert.
• Diploma holders:
Minimum 5 years in relevant field, with 2 years as a renewable energy expert.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, respecting differences.
• Strong problem-solving skills in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
