Job Description

Inspire Clean Energy is seeking a Jr. Engineer - Solar O&M in Amravati, Maharashtra. The role involves overseeing operations and maintenance of solar power plants, performing inspections, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a degree in EEE, ECE, or Mechanical, with 2-4 years of relevant experience. The position requires fieldwork and travel to multiple sites, with immediate joining preferred.
Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Jr. Engineer – Solar O&M to oversee the operations and maintenance of our solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the efficiency of the installed solar systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance of solar power plants.
• Monitor plant performance through SCADA and data acquisition systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in inverters, transformers, panels, and other electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with site teams for daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Prepare reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and downtime analysis.
• Assist in resolving grid-related issues and liaise with local authorities as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure timely procurement.
• Conduct site audits and implement best practices for improving plant efficiency.
• Train and guide junior technicians on O&M procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in EEE, ECE, Mechanical.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in solar power plant operations and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical components.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and electrical regulations.
• Ability to work in field conditions and handle troubleshooting independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing MW-scale solar power plants.
• Certification in Solar O&M or Electrical Safety.
• Knowledge of remote monitoring and automation tools.
