About the Role

Sagebrush Energy is seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician to perform and oversee all on-site electrical work for residential solar installations. You’ll work closely with our remote Master Electrician and be responsible for maintaining electrical code compliance, safety, and quality in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and terminate wiring, inverters, main panel upgrades, and disconnects.

- Conduct final system testing and assist with utility inspections.

- Work collaboratively with install crews to ensure complete system integration.

- Lead electrical apprentices in safe, code-compliant work.

- Communicate jobsite updates with the Project Manager and Master Electrician.

Qualifications

- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in [State].

- 2+ years of residential electrical experience (solar experience preferred).

- Strong understanding of NEC and local electrical codes.

- Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and plan sets.

- Comfortable with rooftop work and ladder use.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
