First Analysis is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst for 2024 in Schiller Park, IL. This role involves working in a dynamic advisory group focused on high-growth technology companies, where you'll engage in M&A transactions and capital raises. Responsibilities include building financial models, conducting valuations, creating presentations, and performing due diligence. Position: Investment banking analyst 2024: New opportunity
We have expanded our hiring plans for 2024 with a goal to add another professional by year-end. You will be a key team member in our small but fast-moving, dynamic advisory group serving high-growth technology companies. Our entrepreneurial structure will afford you the opportunity to be deeply involved in exciting, demanding engagements at an early stage of your career. Our granular approach to M&A transactions and capital raises means youll have meaningful client-facing engagement, enabling you to develop advanced strategy skills.

You will build financial models, develop valuation analyses, create pitch books and other presentations and perform due diligence relating to mergers, acquisitions and capital raises. First Analysis has a four-decade record of serving emerging growth companies, established industry leaders and institutional investors in emerging high-growth segments in technology and healthcare, both through our venture capital investments and through First Analysis Securities Corp.

Requirements Candidates should have a bachelors degree in business or a related area or a bachelors degree with relevant experience. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision, have strong research, quantitative, and analytical, skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

You should be proficient at synthesizing complex information about businesses and using strong writing, design and speaking skills to position them effectively for relevant audiences.
