Director, Investments | Leading Industrial Developer/Owner | Chicago

We are working with an industry-leading developer/owner of industrial assets throughout the world that is seeking a Director to lead investment strategy and execution here in Chicagoland.

This individual will be tasked with revitalizing the portfolio, which will entail everything from acting as lead on local acquisitions, to opportunistically disposing of underperforming assets, to managing deal sourcing/deal flow to replenish the pipeline, before handing off the deal to the development team (while still maintaining ownership throughout the lifecycle.

This person will also need to be the face of the client when it comes to managing external public/private relationships.

Our client continues to raise capital, deploy capital, and outperform its peers year-over-year, and this would be an opportunity to be a part of that growth.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in RE, finance, economics, or related, from top-tier university
• 10+ years of experience in CRE acquisitions, with the majority of that time being focused on executing industrial transactions throughout the Midwest/Chicagoland
• 3+ years of management experience
