Investment Banking Associate/Vice President - Middle Market FIG Advisory
Location: Chicago, IL

Overview:
Our client is a highly regarded boutique investment bank with a strong track record of advising companies on strategic and capital decisions. The firm partners with businesses across financial services sector to deliver tailored solutions in mergers & acquisitions, private placements, and capital structure optimization. They pride themselves on a client-first ethos and long-term relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side advisory for middle-market and Fortune 500 clients.
• Support private placement processes, including raising debt and equity capital and identifying appropriate capital partners.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation analyses, and deal structuring to maximize client outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior bankers to develop strategic recommendations and present to C-suite executives.
• Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of investment banking experience (M&A or capital markets focus preferred).
• Strong technical skills in financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent communication and client management abilities.
• Experience in financial services sectors is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA is a bonus.
