At Calculus Carbon, we are building the first global investment bank for Natural Capital . Calculus Carbon is a Temasek portfolio firm via IE Ventures II, focused on enabling institutional investments for large-scale Nature-based Solutions (NbS) projects across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

The firm currently collaborates with 22 Natural Capital Funds in EU, UK and Singapore to identify scalable investment opportunities in Afforestation, Agroforestry, Aquaculture, Regenerative Agriculture, and Restoration projects across the Global South.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Investment Banking Analyst at Calculus Carbon. The role involves tasks such as financial modeling, due diligence, and business development related to large-scale NbS projects. The analyst will work on live buy-side and sell-side mandates to facilitate capital deployment with institutional cheque sizes ($5M-$40M) within NbS projects.

• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with sustainable finance or impact investing is a plus

Qualifications:
• B.Tech (Dual) from Top 7 IITs/BITS (Pre-MBA)
• 1-2 years of experience working in a global/bulge bracket bank (Deutsche, JP Morgan, BAML, UBS, Credit Suisse among others)
