Role Overview

Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth analysis of clean energy sectors, distilling complex trends and data into strategic insights
• Map competitive landscapes and identify promising companies for potential investment
• Evaluate how emerging technologies could reshape operations for major industry players
• Build models to forecast technology adoption and market evolution
• Coordinate and facilitate collaborative sessions with experts and key stakeholders from partner organizations
• Work closely with partners to co-develop implementation strategies and assess the business value of new technologies
• Communicate findings across teams and external networks to shape industry conversations and amplify the firm’s perspective
• Become a go-to resource for market intelligence and sector-specific developments within the firm
• Partner with investment teams to uncover new opportunities and deepen confidence in deals
• Deliver market insights to help portfolio companies refine their strategies and stay ahead of the curve
• Offer guidance on product planning and commercial launch approaches
• Forge connections between startups and strategic partners to advance pilot opportunities and long-term growth

Qualifications
• Experience in fields such as strategic analysis, consulting, financial advisory, or corporate planning
• Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, physical sciences, or environmental studies
• Background or strong interest in energy innovation or climate solutions
• Familiarity with low-carbon fuels or related technologies is a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to break down and evaluate complex commercial scenarios
• Exceptional communicator—both written and spoken—with a knack for synthesizing information clearly
