Inventory Lead - Warehouse

As an Inventory Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Inventory Control Department. You will be overseeing the day-to-day execution of active Inventory team projects, ensuring accuracy, completion within schedule, and providing guidance and support to the team members. You will also ensure that daily and weekly scheduled tasks are conducted by your team within expectations.
What You’ll Do
• Reviewing and executing daily published WLA.
• Lead a team of up to 10 associates through several projects simultaneously.
• Monitor activity of your team, ensuring tasks are being performed as expected and project schedules are being maintained.
• Audit team member performance of processes. Report process breaks when identified. Recommend improvements for processes when identified.
• Conduct training of team members on new processes added to Inventory Team responsibilities or tasks required to complete new projects.
• Administer retraining of team on process changes. Insuring process change over is maintained successfully through process auditing.
• Maintain and follow up on cross departmental email correspondence to ensure transparency in regards to in progress tasks.
• Track DC Materials & Supplies and communicate to Inventory Control Leadership when and what to repurchase in a timely manner to prevent stockouts.
• Conduct Start of Shift and End of Shift Checklists daily. Communicating any issues that may have arisen at handoff to their Supervisor.
Who You Are
• 1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in a leadership position or demonstration of leadership ability.
• Great organizational skills with experience in overseeing work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Fast and efficient while maintaining a focus on safety and quality
• Great communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Takes pride in punctuality for themselves and their team members
• Experience working with computers/RF scanners
• Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Sheets, Excel, and Google Docs
• Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
