Alinta Energy is offering a three-month Internship Program starting December 2025 in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. This program is aimed at students pursuing degrees in various disciplines related to sustainable energy. Interns will gain hands-on experience and may receive early offers for the Graduate Program. About the Internship Program

Are you an innovative thinker looking to help drive Australia’s transition to sustainable and renewable energy solutions? We are seeking bright minds to join our three-month Internship Program, launching December 2025 in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Our program is designed to set you up for success and will give you direct experience in a role aligned to your discipline, while offering exposure to different areas of the business to help kick start your career. After you successfully complete our internship program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply and potentially receive an early offer for our Graduate Program the following year. At Alinta Energy, you are not just a number, you will be a critical part of our business, working closely with senior leadership and industry leading experts. You will also be part of the solution as we work towards a sustainable and renewable energy future.

About You:

Are you passionate about the future of sustainable and renewable energy? We are looking for detail oriented and creative thinkers that are ready to take on the challenge of Australia’s renewable energy future.

We are looking for students studying bachelor’s degrees in the following disciplines:
• Engineering (BEng Hons)
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Finance, Economics and Commerce
• Data Analytics
• Project Management
• Construction Management
• Business (major Marketing)
• IT or IT (Professional Practice)
• ICT Software Technology
• Social Sciences and Anthropology

Eligibility criteria:
• Be able to start a full-time three-month internship role based in Perth, Sydney or Melbourne in December 2025
• Hold an Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency status at the time of your application
• Due to complete your undergraduate (Bachelor) degree in 2025 or 2026 in one of the above listed disciplines
