Job Description
Roche is offering a Global Internship in Sustainability Supplier Engagement and Decarbonization Opportunities for students in Virginia. Interns will implement sustainability programs, analyze carbon emissions, and participate in industry research. Candidates should be enrolled in relevant fields, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for sustainability. The internship lasts at least 3 months, starting between July 1-16, 2025, within a collaborative and innovative environment.

The Opportunity
Join us on a mission to shape a sustainable future! We are seeking a passionate and innovative intern to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in implementing our supplier sustainability engagement program, diving deep into carbon emissions analysis, and uncovering opportunities for carbon reduction.
Your Responsibilities
• Support in the implementation of our supplier sustainability engagement program to ensure seamless program execution
• Conduct in-depth analysis of carbon emissions data to identify reduction opportunities and propose innovative solutions
• Participate in industry research to support the establishment of unified carbon reduction standards and actions
Who You Are
You are enrolled at a university preferably in the field of Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore you are
• Passionate about Sustainability: You have a genuine interest in environmental issues and a desire to make a positive impact
• Analytical and Detail-Oriented: You possess strong data analysis skills and a keen eye for detail
• Proactive and Innovative: You are a self-starter who can think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table
• Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate with variousstakeholders
• Fluency in English:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are preferred
