Broomsedge Rod & Gun is located in Soperton, Georgia on generations-old family farms. We have thousands of acres of land, including managed food plots for birds and deer, 40 beaver ponds, and 25 lakes. The farms are a sporting paradise where we hunt duck, quail, pheasant, turkey, deer, hogs and predators. Broomsedge Rod and Gun is looking to hire a professional, dependable, self-motivated individual with a high moral character that works as a team player. This position requires an ability to perform job duties without supervision and communicate well with hunters and guests.

Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, the following:
• Game Bird and Southeastern Big Game Management
This would include habitat management, maintenance of deer and duck feeders, and bird pens.
• Habitat Management
To include prescribed burning, pesticide application, timber management, etc. Possible opportunities for planting and maintaining food plots. Equipment experience preferred but not required. Possibility of tractor or skid steer operation.
• Maintenance and Operation of Five Stand
Check-in, safety training and instruction with customers, stocking of machines, basic machine maintenance, and tracking for billing.
• Grounds Maintenance
This would include general farms labor such as maintaining roads, signs, and waterways on Broomsedge properties.
• Guide Opportunities
This position has the potential to guide hunts, conditional on experience.
• Other Responsibilities
Assist with kennel maintenance, including feeding, sanitizing, and monitoring, when required. Help with guest relations and other services at the Lodge including kitchen, bar, and housekeeping responsibilities. Assist with guest relations and other services at the Pro Shop including customer sales and service, ordering and inventory management, and general upkeep.
