Climate change is real and we need to act fast. Our purpose is to restore the carbon balance in our atmosphere. We believe it’s important to have a positive impact on society, the economy, and the climate. Are you ready to join us on our mission? 🌎

Role
Over the last few years, we’ve been working at the core of our technology; being a chemical sorbent as well as the machine around. Thanks to our latest prototype we’ve proven that our sorbent, as well as our technology, works.

Next up, is scaling our machines by building different prototypes. This means that we also have to scale up the production of one of our sub-systems. And that’s where we need you! You’ll support scaling the production of this sub-system by working hands-on in the lab as well as continuously optimizing the production process.

While spending most of your time in the lab, you’ll intensively work together with Selene van der Weijst (Lab Technician) as well as Arno van Hoof (Senior Researcher & Competence Group Manager Sorbent R&D). As we’re working towards standardizing the production of this sub-system, it’s up to you to constantly iterate the production process to ultimately work towards a standard operating procedure (SOP).

Responsibilities
While we did our utmost best to give you a colorful context as given above, we’d also like to put your internship assignment in a few bullets. Simply to recap your assignment a bit more clearly.
• Accurately execute the current version of the early production process.
• While doing so, you critically analyze the producibility of the sub-system.
• Come up with suggestions to improve the production process, and thus the sub-system, to work towards a standard operating procedure.

Why join us?

We are a purpose-driven team of international engineers, researchers, and business professionals. We do not get easily discouraged and we join forces to ensure our dream comes true. At the heart of it all, there are people inspired by our purpose: reversing climate change!

We offer you to
• Make a real difference in one of the biggest challenges of our time - reversing climate change.
• Become an integral part of our fun, diverse and growing multicultural team.
• Experience the dynamic and exciting environment of a startup - where there is never a dull moment.
• Take ownership and actively participate in the decision-making process.
• Share and implement your own ideas - we believe the best ideas can come from anywhere.
• Enjoy flexible working hours and the freedom to manage your work effectively - we trust you.
• Join the daily team walks at the inspiring High Tech Campus.
• Engage in monthly team events and activities such as jeu de boules or barbecues, fostering a strong sense of community.
