Job Description
BMW is seeking an International Energy Planning and Management Intern in Greer, SC. The role involves supporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, conducting energy data analysis, and evaluating renewable energy projects. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant university outside the US, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and have completed a prior BMW internship. The position requires full-time on-site work from September 2025 to March 2026.
Support Energy Planning and Management initiatives, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities include:
• Support Energy Planning and Energy Management Team initiatives.
• Contribute to Energy Efficiency projects and CO2-free/renewable energy targets for 2030.
• Assist in Energy Center Operations Support and Energy Forecasting for the Americas Region.
• Evaluate and manage Energy Efficiency Projects.
• Conduct Energy Data Analysis and Reporting.
• Evaluate Solar Photovoltaic and other Renewable Energy Projects.
• Support 2030 CO2-free Energy Target Evaluation.
• Assist in Business Case Analysis for Energy Saving projects.
• Scout for innovative Energy solutions.
• Engage in Financial project steering and Data Analysis support.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Management, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or similar fields.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on the US grading scale.
• Enrollment at a university outside of the United States.
• Completion of a prior BMW internship of at least 3 months.
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
• Completion and passing of a substance abuse test before the work term.
• Availability from September 22, 2025, to March 06, 2026.
• Required paperwork in English: Curriculum Vitae/Resume, Last University Performance Record, Cover letter (optional), Relevant references and certificates (optional).
