Environmental Health & Engineering is seeking dedicated students for a Summer 2025 Internship focused on environmental health and safety or engineering. Interns will work on a chemical classification project for a hospital client, splitting time between the Newton, MA office and remote work. The role includes mentorship, fieldwork, and administrative tasks, providing valuable industry experience. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant degree program and possess a can-do attitude.
Summer 2025 Internship

Job Summary:

EH&E’s internship program is looking for interested, dedicated & ambitious students that are looking for professional experience. We are looking to provide mentorship, learning & real-life experiences to individuals with a desire to get into environmental health & safety or engineering careers! This internship will allow you to learn from industry professionals throughout several different industry perspectives – analytics, healthcare, life sciences, education/commercial sites & building commissioning!
This particular Summer 2025 Internship will work over the summer on a chemical classification project for our hospital client. The intern will split time between the client in Longwood Medical area, Newton, MA (our headquarters office) and have the opportunity to work remotely.*

What you'll be doing:
• Gaining a thorough understanding of EHS/IH/Engineering & Analytical principles through mentorship opportunities.
• Helping draft report documentation.
• Assisting with field work opportunities.
• Researching regulations for existing project work or case work.
• Performing administrative duties.

Minimum qualifications, knowledge, skills & abilities:
• Have an interest in environmental health, safety, or engineering.
• Preferably in an Associate or Bachelor or Master’s degree program.
• Have a valid driver’s license & reliable form of transportation.
• Have ability to work M-F general business hours (40-hour week).
