The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is seeking a Communications Intern in New Delhi, India, for a 3-month period, with potential for extension. The role involves supporting digital strategy, social media content creation, and outreach efforts related to sustainable transportation. Purpose

ICCT is looking for a creative individual who is passionate about sustainable development, climate action, and clean transportation to join our Delhi office.You should have excellent communication skills - spoken and written English language skills, understand different digital platforms (LinkedIn, X, YouTube) and a keen eye for details.
• Assist the communication team in implementingdigital strategy
• Support in the planning/implementing program-specific outreach
• Assist in social media content creation
• Create data-driven collaterals such as videos, social media posts, infographics, etc.,based on ICCT’s research for social media
• Work with graphic designers to create creatives for social media (Carousels, infographics)
• Assist in event outreach (as and when needed)
• Conduct research for upcoming communications products
• Assist in archiving ICCT India’s communication work

Qualifications and Experience:
• Master’s degree in communication, public relations, environment, social sciences or relevant majors.
• Ability to work 5 days per week for a duration of at least 3 months.
• Passionate about sustainable development, environment, climate change and sustainability.
• Knowledge and interest in low carbon sustainable transportation and public policy is encouraged.
• Fluent in English (writing, reading, and speaking).
• Experienced in LinkedIn and X content management.
• Great interpersonal skills and result driven.

Our benefits

The internship contract will last 3 months, with a potential extension to 6 months. You will work in our Delhi office (Work from home will be allowed on case-by-case basis). ICCT will provide a laptop and other office equipment as needed.

The monthly stipend for this role is ₹25K.
