Job Description

Constellium is seeking an Intern for Sustainable Procurement in Paris, France. The role involves supporting the Global Procurement team in sustainable purchasing initiatives and sustainability reporting processes. The intern will assist with projects related to sustainable sourcing and CO2 footprint reduction, working closely with Procurement Leaders and corporate sustainability teams. Applicants should be pursuing a master’s degree in a relevant field, with an interest in sustainable supply chain practices.

Context
- The Intern - Sustainable Procurement is part of the Global Procurement team; the position is

based in in Paris, France.
- The Global Procurement team is responsible for the multi-billion EUR global procurement

activities of Constellium, comprising metals, energy and indirect materials.
- In a global context increasingly focusing on sustainable purchasing, our Global Procurement team

is more than ever a key contributor to number or work streams and initiatives focusing on
responsible sourcing and CO2 footprint reduction, which creates a significant number of new
requirements and tasks.
Primary Purpose


The Intern - Sustainable Procurement is mainly responsible for supporting the Procurement Leaders
on specific projects and activities in the fields of sustainable procurement for both direct and indirect
procurement categories. He will report to the Global Category Manager (Renewable Energy and
Sustainable Sourcing ) and will work in close collaboration with the other Procurement Leaders as well.
Key Accountabilities*
- Support in improving sustainability reporting processes (i.e. sustainable sourcing KPI, Scope 2 and

Scope 3 GHG emissions) for Global Procurement. Including coordination of outsourced services
for sustainability data and market intelligence (e.g. CO2 emissions) and Sustainable Sourcing
services (e.g. Ecovadis, ARIBA Supplier Risk).
- Support the acquisition of an IT tool to support sustainable procurement (e.g. sustainable sourcing,

Scope 3 data collection and management) activities for the Group.
- Regular interactions with sustainable sourcing champions, global category managers, site

procurement leaders, central IT team and corporate sustainability team.
- On-going master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Industrial Engineering or

related field. Interest in sustainable supply chain or performance analysis and reporting - not
required but would be an asset.
- Very good logical and analytical skills, combined with business acumen.
- Very good data analytics and database development skills. In addition, good working experience

in MS Excel and MS Powrpoint.
- Very good interaction and communication skills and ability to gain people's trust and collaboration

in a multi-national environment. Comfortable dealing with all organizational levels and
stakeholders internally and externally including suppliers, with a professional attitude.
- Team player with a pragmatic and flexible mindset, willing to join a humble but high-performing

team, and ready to run the extra-mile when required.
- Fluent English, Fluent in French and / or German an asset.
