Job Description
Internship: Sustainability Reporting Intern
Amcor’s Corporate Sustainability Team – based in the Amcor Rigid Packaging head office in Ann Arbor – is seeking an intern to commence in May 2025. This role will support Amcor’s year-end sustainability reporting activities, including preparation of environmental data for Amcor’s annual sustainability report and response to two major ESG disclosure frameworks. The selected student will gain exposure to challenging project-based work experience, the opportunity to learn about Amcor’s global packaging business and the broader packaging industry, and real-world experience working to improve data collection and management processes and support sustainability reporting in a large, global corporation. This role will report to Amcor’s Corporate Sustainability Team and have significant exposure to our business and leadership teams around the world.
Internship Assignments
• Perform data analysis to support preparation of Amcor’s end-of-year data on GHG emissions, energy, raw materials, waste, and water for sustainability reporting and assurance purposes
• Evaluate data for opportunities to improve operational efficiency and environmental performance, including identifying best practices and improvement opportunities for manufacturing plants around the globe
• Assess data for opportunities to improve data quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Support completion of annual ratings assessments (S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment and CDP), including helping develop responses and inputting data into ratings platforms
Basic Qualifications
• Candidates must be pursuing a graduate degree, preferably in environment, sustainability, business, and/or data science
• Experience managing and analyzing large, complex sets of data
• Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Passionate about environmental sustainability
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated/ability to work independently
• A continuous improvement and innovative mindset
• Initiative to meet project milestones and deadlines
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), and CDP
