Intermediate Environmental Graphic Designer

The Society for Experiential Graphic Design is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Graphic Designer for their Seattle-based studio. The role involves project design conceptualization, documentation, and collaboration with team members. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience. The position is hybrid, requiring some in-office presence and travel to project sites.

THE ROLE

Lead and assist with project design conceptualization, development, and implementation.
Lead and assist with project design documentation, sign location plans, message schedules, and detailing for fabrication.
Lead and assist with project workflow process.
Build contacts and relationships with design team members, fabricators, and other industry individuals.
This role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires the candidate to be available to work out of our studio in Seattle with some travel to project sites.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, architecture, or industrial design is required.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a designer at a design/advertising agency.
Candidates must be proficient in Apple Macintosh based Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp are a plus.
