Job Description
ENGIE Mexico is looking for an Interfaces Coordinator for the Cuxtal II project in Mexico City and Mérida. The Interfaces Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring timely and correct execution of interfacing activities and obligations between EPCs, project management teams, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. The role will involve developing tools to identify, schedule, and update interfaces within contracts, managing communications with contractors, supporting claim management processes, and monitoring contract risks related to interfaces.
**Responsibilities and Job Functions:**
- Follow up on execution of interfacing activities and obligations between EPC and supply contracts
- Develop tools to identify and schedule interfaces within contracts
- Communicate effectively with contractors related to interfaces
- Support claim management processes and prepare change orders
- Communicate and raise warnings to prevent disputes related to interfaces
- Support purchasing team in subcontract and supply contract negotiations
- Keep stakeholders informed of interface status and contract risks
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, security, and environmental protection policies and procedures
**Occupational Profile:**
- University/College degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Logistics
- Extensive experience in infrastructure construction industry, particularly in midstream O&G
- Advanced Spanish and intermediate English language skills
- Knowledge of quality assurance, inspection, transport, and document management procedures
- Familiarity with hydrocarbons transport, pipelines, valves, instrumentation, and compression equipment
- Understanding of construction phases and engineering processes
