Wood County Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Integrations Architect to manage electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure secure access to protected health information. Responsibilities include developing clinical information systems, coordinating EHR operations, and maintaining custom programming scripts. Candidates should have five years of experience in information systems, preferably in healthcare. This position is based in Bowling Green, OH.

Integrations Architect / Information Services/ Full Time

The Integration Architect acts as primary resource for the electronic health record (EHR) domain and ancillary tool security to include development of positions, roles preferences as well as coordination and completion of access audits to ensure user access to protected health information is limited to the minimum required to perform assigned duties.

Major Tasks, Duties And Responsibilities
• Participate in development (database/application), training, troubleshooting, testing, and researching of clinical information systems.
• Work collaboratively with end users of clinical information systems in both clinical and non-clinical areas as well as with all departments
• Participate in domain management including package loads, system upgrades, downtime events, and domain refresh schedules.
• Develops and maintains EHR Discern Rules.
• Maintain and support custom EHR programming scripts.
• Coordinates EHR operations job (ops job) build, scheduling and monitoring
• Builds, monitors and troubleshoots EHR reporting and distribution tools
• Builds, monitors and troubleshoots EHR Registration and Revenue Cycle Applications
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education, Training And Experience
• Five (5) years’ experience in information systems environment, preferably healthcare
• Information Technology degree or equivalent experience.
