Integrated Resource Conservation Professional

About the Position

This position is a key opportunity to contribute to the development of a Sustainable Landscapes Opportunity Analysis (SLOA) for Paraguay. The SLOA will provide an overview of options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through land-based conservation, management, and restoration.
Main Responsibilities
• Support the collection of relevant geospatial data and information to inform the creation of a SLOA Geospatial Companion
• Collaborate and coordinate with the SLOA team to complete a work plan for fieldwork
• Provide input for the selection of local institutions and stakeholders for key informant interviews
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Post-graduate degree qualifications or equivalent experience in research and analysis in animal science, rangeland management, climate science, nature-based solutions, environmental science, ecology, or a related field
• Knowledge of USAID's strategic planning process and sustainable landscapes
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, writing, and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish
